BERKSWICH PARISH

Minutes of Berkswich Parish Meeting held on Tuesday 5 May 2026

at 7.00 pm at Walton Village Hall

Present:   Cllr Alan Taylor (Chair), Cllr Sue Francis, Cllr Beverley Hughes, Cllr Michael Norris, Cllr Tim Luker, Cllr Ann Millichap and Cllr Malcolm Millichap.  SBC Cllr Peter Edgeller attended as a member of the public and Mrs Sue Fullwood (Clerk/RFO) who is also a parish elector, was present.

26/1      Welcome and Introduction by the Chair – Cllr Taylor welcomed everyone to the meeting.

26/2      Public Session – no matters were raised during the public session.

26/3      Apologies – apologies were received from Cllr Caroline Pearson, Cllr Bob Gilson and Cllr Vicky Campbell.

26/4      Minutes of the meeting held on 6 May 2025 – Resolved: Cllr Francis proposed the minutes were approved, seconded by Cllr Luker agreed unanimously.

26/5      Chair’s Annual Report 2025/26

The Chair had circulated his report with the agenda and outlined the work completed in the Parish in the last twelve months.  The full report is published with the meeting agenda on the council website.

26/6      Annual Financial Statement 2025/26

The Clerk had prepared a statement which had been published on the Council’s website alongside the meeting agenda.  The Council’s finances were sound.

26/7      Close of Meeting

The Chair thanked everyone for attending and closed the meeting at 7.10 pm.
